Essential for growth & cell repair protein plays an important part, it helps with regulating your metabolism, strengthening your immune system & production of hormones.
But we don't NEED chicken, steak and fish to accomplish this.. If you are vegetarian then these very products are rich in protein and can be used to ensure you are getting enough, also that you feel full, especially if you are trying to become lean;

👉🏼 Soya & tofu
👉🏼 Beans & pulses - lentils, chickpeas, black beans, kidney beans
👉🏼 Vegetables - green peas, broccoli, spinich (one of my faves to cook with), asparagus, artichokes, potatoes, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts (these can actually be nice if cooked properly, who knew?!)
👉🏼 Grains g oats, barely, rice, quinoa
👉🏼Dairy - milk, cheese, Greek yoghurt
👉🏼 Nuts & Seeds - cashews, flaxseed (great over Greek yoghurt), almonds, chai seeds and nut butters
